Join FCS Gurus Andrew Balis, Misha Tenenbaum and Larry Jordan as they will attempt to answer all of your questions and solve all of your problems concerning FCS. If they can't solve your problem or answer your question, then you go home with a problem, but you still got out of the house, so that's not a bad thing.

Back from film production in Bulgaria, editor Misha Tenenbaum will present, "The Rough Cut: How to Interpret the Director's Intentions." He'll discuss how to understand the coverage using scenes from his latest film,"Sofia."
In the lobby will be many FCS Gurus. This is your chance to ask questions. No questions? G-Technology will be in the lobby showing off their storage solutions. Maxon will also be in the lobby showing off Cinema 4D. The break is a chance to hang out and meet and greet and get your problems solved and who knows, get a job. You never know who you are going to meet at lafcpug.Snacks and Beer and Wine will be on sale in the lobby. Proceeds go to the Gallery Theater.
We welcome Academy Award nominated editor Matt Chesse to lafcpug. Matt has edited such films as Monsters Ball, Finding Neverland, Quantum of Solace as well as many others and just wrapped “Warrior” starring Tom Hardy. Matt will take an action sequence from Quantum of Solace and break it down and talk the decision making process.
